Get ready for some festive fun tomorrow! We’re setting up a delightful sensory play experience for our little ones using a versatile turf tray.
Tomorrow’s adventure will involve sorting a collection of colorful baubles (you can use real ones or colorful pom-poms, buttons, etc.). This sorting activity will help develop early math skills, color recognition, and fine motor skills.
Once the baubles are sorted, we’ll use them to decorate a “tree” within the turf tray. This could involve building a tree shape with natural materials like twigs and branches, or even using a pre-made tree shape.
Turf trays are truly amazing! Their versatility makes them perfect for a wide range of activities, from sensory play and imaginative play to science experiments and messy masterpieces.
We can’t wait to see the beautiful Christmas trees our little artists create tomorrow!
